No pictures of food today because I'm feeling "under the weather"...could it be the flu from the lovely mist vaccine that AJ had to get? I hope not, but it seems that way! Hayden had mac and cheese for lunch and nuggets for dinner with some of my ramen noodles!
He decided to put the kitty in the toilet today...that was interesting.
...and today was my FIRST day working for kgb! I made a little over $20! Hopefully I'll earn more as I practice and get quicker!

Two GOOD Movies...
We re-watched "Crash" last night. It is definitely one of our favorites.
Several stories interweave during two days in Los Angeles involving a collection of inter-related characters, a police detective with a drugged out mother and a thieving younger brother, two car thieves who are constantly theorizing on society and race, the white district attorney and his irritated and pampered wife, a racist white veteran cop (caring for a sick father at home) who disgusts his more idealistic younger partner, a successful Hollywood director and his wife who must deal with the racist cop, a Persian-immigrant father who buys a gun to protect his shop, a Hispanic locksmith and his young daughter who is afraid of bullets, and more.
And "The Hangover"...it was HILARIOUS!!!!
Angelenos Doug Billings and Tracy Garner are about to get married. Two days before the wedding, the four men in the wedding party - Doug, Doug's two best buddies Phil Wenneck and Stu Price, and Tracy's brother Alan Garner - hop into Tracy's father's beloved Mercedes convertible for a 24-hour stag party to Las Vegas. Phil, a married high school teacher, has the same maturity level as his students when he's with his pals. Stu, a dentist, is worried about everything, especially what his controlling girlfriend Melissa thinks. Because she disapproves of traditional male bonding rituals, Stu has to lie to her about the stag, he telling her that they are going on a wine tasting tour in the Napa Valley. Regardless, he intends on eventually marrying her, against the advice and wishes of his friends. And Alan seems to be unaware of what are considered the social graces of the western world. The morning after their arrival in Las Vegas, they awaken in their hotel suite each with the worst hangover. None remembers what happened in the past twelve or so hours. The suite is in shambles. And certain things are in the suite that shouldn't be, and certain things that should be in the suite are missing. Probably the most important in the latter category is Doug. As Phil, Stu and Alan try to find Doug using only what little pieces of information they have at hand, they go on a journey of discovery of how certain things got into the suite and what happened to the missing items. However they are on a race for time as if they can't find Doug in the next few hours, they are going to have to explain to Tracy why they are not yet back in Los Angeles. And even worse, they may not find Doug at all before the wedding.

Day 2 of COOKING...and more!
I made meatball subs!
They were OKAY. We didn't LOVE them, but didn't hate them. Hayden ate 1/2 of one and LOVED it so that was a plus.
then he had a bath...and so did the kitty! I hear him laughing hysterically and out comes "Litterby" running/sliding at full speed. I asked him what happened and he said "The kitty wanted a bath..." I said "oh really, did she like the bath?" and he said "yup! she liked it!"...I was laughing....

Trying to become a DOMESTIC GODDESS!
So step one in trying to become a domestic goddess, is learning to COOK...all while being FRUGAL! That being said, we got 2 weeks worth of groceries for under $150 and I have a meal plan...
15th--Beef Stew
16th--Meatball Subs
17th--Cheesy Chicken and Mac
18th--Pork BBQ
19th--Chili
20th--Pizza/Fend For Yourself
21st--Spaghetti
22nd--Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup
23rd--Pizza
24th--Chicken Parmesean
25th--Italian Style Stir Fry
26th--Spaghetti Carbonara
27th--Sweet and Sour Chicken
28th--Ham and Cheddar Loaf
So today...it was the beef stew! AJ cut all the meat for me last night :) I got up early...I cut the potatoes (even peeled them with a knife--El, you'd be proud!) and cut the carrots and onions...cooked it all in the crock pot to be done in time for AJ to leave for work at 2! Looks a little gross but is WAY yummy! Hayden even liked it before he choked on the meat. Apparently, he can't eat meat like that yet...it's okay, he had a pb&j instead, but I'm so glad he at least ate a few bites! AJ packed it for lunch (hints why there's not much left in the picture). All in all, it was GOOD!

I had to post two icons today instead of a picture...because honestly, I am just missing AJ. I knew his job when I met him, so there are no complaints, I just MISS him...ah, but I sure am thankful to have such an amazing person in my life TO miss...and to love. I am thankful that he serves our country and he is my hero.

365
You may notice, I can't USUALLY choose just one picture...I guess this Project 365 doesn't have "rules" per say...eh, it's fun trying to remember to take a picture everyday =) I love my life!

The beach was GORGEOUS that morning! See the rainbow?? It was a LITTLE chilly but mild, we LOVED it. Trying to push Hayden's stroller in the sand...I don't recommend it unless you want an awesome workout!

Project 365
http://www.photojojo.com/content/tutorials/project-365-take-a-photo-a-day/
Taking a photo a day is a big undertaking with big payoffs. Here are just a few reasons why you should consider doing it:
- Imagine being able to look back at any day of your year and recall what you did, who you met, what you learned… (Often we find it hard to remember what we did just yesterday or even last night, let alone a whole year ago!)
- Your year-long photo album will be an amazing way to document your travels and accomplishments, your haircuts and relationships. Time moves surprisingly fast.
- Taking a photo a day will make you a better photographer. Using your camera every day will help you learn its limits. You will get better at composing your shots, you’ll start to care about lighting, and you’ll become more creative with your photography when you’re forced to come up with something new every single day.

Texas Steakhouse=Boooooo!!!!
So AJ, Hayden, and I went to Texas Steakhouse yesterday around 3p for a late lunch/early dinner...we got cheese fries to share, and of course their warm yummy rolls...so then he gets his steak and baked potato and I get my grilled chicken tenders and steamed veggies. Well, by the time my food comes, I was pretty full from the fries & rolls so I ate 1/2 a chicken tender and my veggies...well, I was like this is good, cause then AJ could have the rest for dinner. So AJ's steak is crappy and he doesn't even finish it, he said the steak on base in Afghanistan was better, lol, must have been bad! Anyway, we go to the mall afterwards to get him some new shoes and I start feeling REALLY naueous, but brush it off, figuring it was just cause my stupid gallbladder (or lack thereof) and we leave and run to Hagerstown Mall...well on the way there the nausea was intensifying and by the time we get to the mall we have to RUSH through the food court to keep me from throwing up from the smell, we run in the store, and I tell him we have to go home, I felt miserable! So he drives and we get home and I RUN inside, throw my coat off (all the while leaving him to get Hayden and ALL the bags and whatnot--sorry baby, but thank you for being so wonderful!) and I get inside and throw up...so that lasts a while, then I went to sleep and he ate the rest of the stupid chicken tenders for dinner...whadda you know??? Around midnight he starts throwing up too!
Moral of the story: Texas Steakhouse chicken tenders are either undercooked or OLD and make you vomit, DO NOT eat them!
